Uzbekistan is on DAAD's approved list of developing countries (the DAC list, Central Asia region) and is fully eligible for the EPOS programme. Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree, have at least two years of relevant professional experience, and their degree must not be older than six years.

Deadlines vary by the chosen postgraduate course (generally August–October for the 2026/27 intake, with some courses accepting applications until March 2026). Each course publishes its own deadline in the DAAD scholarship database.
U.S. Department of State
Full scholarship: tuition, monthly living stipend, international and domestic airfare, and J-1 Exchange Visitor health insurance. The program enables recipients to earn a Master's degree in the U.S. or conduct research under the Open Study/Research Award.
Turkish Government (YTB)
Full funding: tuition, accommodation, a monthly stipend (approximately TRY 4,500 for Bachelor's, TRY 6,500 for Master's, TRY 9,000 for PhD students), health insurance, a one-year Turkish-language course, and round-trip airfare.
Japanese Government (MEXT)
Full scholarship: a monthly stipend of ¥143,000–145,000 (varies by degree level and field), with tuition and international airfare covered by the Government of Japan. The program typically begins with research-student (kenkyusei) status before transferring into a master's or doctoral program.
UK Government (FCDO)
Full scholarship: university tuition fees, a monthly living allowance (rate varies by city), return flights to and from the UK, visa costs, and additional grants (e.g. for research). Available only for one-year master's programmes.
