Open to citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan — applicants must hold (or be eligible to hold) an Uzbekistani passport. Requires a minimum four-year university degree and at least 5 years of full-time professional experience at time of application, demonstrated leadership potential and a record of community service. Applicants must not have spent more than 6 months in the U.S. in the past 5 years or previously participated in a U.S. government exchange program. Applications are processed through the U.S. Embassy in Tashkent (Fulbright program).
