Uzbekistan is explicitly named on the official 2026 country list (alongside Armenia, Azerbaijan, China, Georgia, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Kazakhstan, Moldova, New Zealand, the Philippines, South Korea, Ukraine, the USA, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, and ethnic Lithuanians from non-EU/EFTA countries). Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree, an admission or pre-admission letter from a Lithuanian HEI, and at least B2 level in the language of instruction; the scholarship can be awarded only once per person.

U.S. Department of State
Full scholarship: tuition, monthly living stipend, international and domestic airfare, and J-1 Exchange Visitor health insurance. The program enables recipients to earn a Master's degree in the U.S. or conduct research under the Open Study/Research Award.
Turkish Government (YTB)
Full funding: tuition, accommodation, a monthly stipend (approximately TRY 4,500 for Bachelor's, TRY 6,500 for Master's, TRY 9,000 for PhD students), health insurance, a one-year Turkish-language course, and round-trip airfare.
Japanese Government (MEXT)
Full scholarship: a monthly stipend of ¥143,000–145,000 (varies by degree level and field), with tuition and international airfare covered by the Government of Japan. The program typically begins with research-student (kenkyusei) status before transferring into a master's or doctoral program.
UK Government (FCDO)
Full scholarship: university tuition fees, a monthly living allowance (rate varies by city), return flights to and from the UK, visa costs, and additional grants (e.g. for research). Available only for one-year master's programmes.
