UK Government (FCDO)
Full scholarship: university tuition fees, a monthly living allowance (rate varies by city), return flights to and from the UK, visa costs, and additional grants (e.g. for research). Available only for one-year master's programmes.
Uzbekistan citizens are officially on the list of eligible countries (chevening.org has a dedicated Uzbekistan page). A minimum of 2 years (2,800 hours) of work experience and an undergraduate degree that qualifies for UK master's study (completed at least 2 years before applying) are required. Recipients must return to their home country for at least 2 years after the scholarship ends.
Complete the online application at chevening.org. Three references, details of work experience, and motivation essays are required. Applications are accepted only through the online portal.
Annual
Opens annually in August-September and closes in early November (applications for the 2026/27 academic year closed in autumn 2025). The 2027/28 cycle is expected to open in August-September 2026 and close in early November, but exact dates have not yet been officially announced.
Turkish Government (YTB)
Full funding: tuition, accommodation, a monthly stipend (approximately TRY 4,500 for Bachelor's, TRY 6,500 for Master's, TRY 9,000 for PhD students), health insurance, a one-year Turkish-language course, and round-trip airfare.
Japanese Government (MEXT)
Full scholarship: a monthly stipend of ¥143,000–145,000 (varies by degree level and field), with tuition and international airfare covered by the Government of Japan. The program typically begins with research-student (kenkyusei) status before transferring into a master's or doctoral program.
U.S. Department of State
Full scholarship: tuition, monthly living stipend, international and domestic airfare, and J-1 Exchange Visitor health insurance. The program enables recipients to earn a Master's degree in the U.S. or conduct research under the Open Study/Research Award.
