Terms of Use

1. General provisions and definitions

Platform — the Tadqiq.uz website and the totality of its services, pages, and features.

Service Provider — the business entity whose requisites are set out at the end of these Terms and which operates the Platform.

User — any natural person using the Platform (including both registered and unregistered visitors).

Content — any text, image, document, or other material posted by the Platform or a User.

Community — the free section in which Users interact and post entries and comments.

These Terms govern the overall administration of the Platform. The price, payment, and refund of paid services are set out in a separate Public Offer, and the processing of personal data in a separate Privacy Policy; both of these documents form an integral part of these Terms.

2. Acceptance of the Terms

Registration on the Platform and/or its active use (for example, creating an account, posting content, or using the services) constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms.

In accordance with Articles 369 and 370 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, merely viewing pages or remaining silent does not, in itself, constitute acceptance — acceptance is expressed through the active actions described above.

The Service Provider may unilaterally update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms take effect upon their publication on the Platform and the update of the "last edited" date; continued use of the Platform after changes is deemed acceptance of the new Terms.

3. Description of services

The Platform provides the following principal services: AI-assisted creation of academic documents (academic article, conference thesis); creation of department (kafedra) documents (syllabus, working programme, methodological guide); an OAK (HAC) journal catalogue; a free community; and a referral (invitation) system.

The academic-article, conference-thesis, and department-document services are paid; the OAK journal catalogue, community, and referral system are provided free of charge.

The terms relating to the price and payment of services are shown on the Platform during purchase and are set out in a separate Public Offer.

4. User account and eligibility

To use certain services, the User is required to create an account. When creating an account, the User must provide accurate and up-to-date information.

To use the Platform, the User must be at least 16 years of age. This is a contractual requirement, and the User warrants that, where necessary, they have the consent of their legal representative.

Each User holds one personal account. The User keeps their account credentials (login and password) confidential and is responsible for all actions carried out through their account.

5. Acceptable use and prohibited conduct

The User must use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

The following are prohibited: unlawful or fraudulent activity, and activity connected with the legalization of criminal proceeds (money laundering); automated bulk collection of Platform data (including the OAK journal catalogue) by scraping; reselling generated documents or distributing them widely on a non-commercial basis; posting spam, threats, insults, or unlawful content in the community or in a public profile; impersonating another person or providing false information.

The User must refrain from any action aimed at causing technical harm to the Platform and its other users (breaching the Platform’s security, creating excessive load, and the like).

6. User content and moderation

The User who posts entries and comments in the community, and information and other materials in their public researcher profile (user content), is personally responsible for them.

By posting their content, the User grants the Service Provider a limited, royalty-free licence to display, store, and moderate that content on the Platform. This licence applies only within the operation of the Platform.

The Service Provider may, at its discretion, remove content that is unlawful, that breaches these Terms, or that infringes the rights of third parties. Upon a well-founded report of a violation (a "notice-and-takedown" procedure), such content is reviewed within the period established by the applicable legislation.

7. Account blocking and suspension of activity

If these Terms are breached or unlawful actions are detected, the Service Provider may remove the User’s content, temporarily block their account, or terminate it entirely (including restricting use of the AI services or fully blocking access to the Platform).

The blocking measure is applied in proportion to the severity of the breach. In cases of fraud, abuse of the system, or repeated violations, the account may be blocked without prior warning.

If a blocked User disagrees with the decision, they may reach out through the contact channels set out at the end of these Terms.

8. Intellectual property

Rights in the Platform’s software, design, brand, logo, and other copyright objects belong to the Service Provider or the relevant rightsholders, and these Terms transfer no rights in them to the User.

A User who has made payment obtains the right to use the generated document, edit it, and submit it for its intended purpose. At the same time, under Article 8 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Copyright and Related Rights," a result obtained solely by technical means without the participation of human creative activity may not be a copyright object. The Platform therefore does not guarantee any "transfer of copyright" in the generated document, and responsibility for the originality and authorship of the final work rests with the User.

The User warrants that they hold the necessary rights to any material they upload or enter into the Platform.

9. Notice regarding AI-generated content

The Platform’s document-creation services are an assistive tool based on artificial intelligence. The generated document is a draft, and before its final use (for example, submission to a journal or to OAK) the User must independently verify it.

The Service Provider does not guarantee the factual accuracy of the generated content, the correctness of citations, or the originality of the text (the absence of plagiarism). Academic integrity, checking the text against the requirements of the User’s own institution and OAK, and final responsibility rest with the User.

The Platform does not guarantee acceptance, publication, grading of the document, or the achievement of any other academic outcome.

10. Payment services

The price of paid services, the payment procedure, and the refund conditions are set out in a separate Public Offer and form an integral part of these Terms.

Payment is made through the payment methods provided by the Service Provider.

11. Personal data

The procedure for collecting, processing, and storing the User’s personal data is described in detail in a separate Privacy Policy and forms an integral part of these Terms.

12. Service availability and changes

The Platform is provided on an "as-is" basis. The Service Provider does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation, and the service may be temporarily suspended due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond the Service Provider’s control.

The Service Provider may unilaterally change the Platform’s features and these Terms. Changes are published on the Platform; continued use after publication is deemed acceptance of the changes.

13. Limitation of liability

The Platform and its services are provided on an "as-is" basis. The Service Provider does not guarantee uninterrupted operation or the achievement of any particular outcome.

To the extent permitted by law, the Service Provider’s liability in respect of a particular service does not exceed the amount the User paid for that service. The Service Provider is not liable for indirect or incidental damages.

This clause does not limit consumer rights that are mandatorily established by applicable legislation.

14. Indemnity

The User undertakes, within the limits of the law, to indemnify the Service Provider for damages, claims, and demands caused by the User’s misuse of the Platform or by the infringement of third-party rights in the materials the User uploads and submits.

15. Term and termination

These Terms remain in effect for the period during which the User uses the Platform.

The User may terminate the relationship at any time by deleting their account. The Service Provider may unilaterally terminate the account in the event of a breach of these Terms.

The retention and deletion of personal data after account termination are carried out within the periods established by the Privacy Policy.

16. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Any disputes that may arise are resolved first through negotiation. If no agreement is reached, the dispute is considered by the courts of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

17. Final provisions

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, this does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.

These Terms are provided in Uzbek, Russian, and English. In the event of any discrepancy between the translations, the Uzbek-language text prevails.

These Terms, together with the Public Offer and the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between the User and the Service Provider.
