China Scholarship Council
Full coverage: tuition fees, free dormitory accommodation, a monthly stipend, and health insurance. Awarded via two channels: Type A (through the Chinese Embassy in Uzbekistan) or Type B (directly through the chosen university).
Open to citizens of Uzbekistan under the bilateral intergovernmental agreement with China. Applications are submitted via the CSC online system (campuschina.org); a nomination/agency number from the Embassy (Type A) or the university (Type B) is required.
Uzbekistan citizens only
1. Register at campuschina.org. 2. Choose Type A (Chinese Embassy in Uzbekistan) or Type B (university) and obtain an agency number. 3. Upload your diploma, study plan, passport copy and other documents. 4. Complete an interview through the embassy (for Type A). 5. Check results via the system.
Annual
The deadline depends on the embassy/university, typically November–April (for the 2026/2027 academic year, many embassies closed applications in February-March). Applications for the 2027/2028 academic year are expected to open around November 2026; the exact date for the Chinese Embassy in Uzbekistan was not found.
U.S. Department of State
Full scholarship: tuition, monthly living stipend, international and domestic airfare, and J-1 Exchange Visitor health insurance. The program enables recipients to earn a Master's degree in the U.S. or conduct research under the Open Study/Research Award.
Turkish Government (YTB)
Full funding: tuition, accommodation, a monthly stipend (approximately TRY 4,500 for Bachelor's, TRY 6,500 for Master's, TRY 9,000 for PhD students), health insurance, a one-year Turkish-language course, and round-trip airfare.
UK Government (FCDO)
Full scholarship: university tuition fees, a monthly living allowance (rate varies by city), return flights to and from the UK, visa costs, and additional grants (e.g. for research). Available only for one-year master's programmes.
