French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs / Campus France
The scholarship provides EUR 1,200/month at Master's level and EUR 2,100/month at PhD level, plus coverage of international travel, health and social insurance, and a budget for cultural activities.
Open to citizens of any nationality except France (Uzbek citizens are fully eligible); age limit is 29 for Master's and 35 for PhD applicants. Candidates are nominated by their chosen French higher education institution rather than applying directly.
There is no direct application — students first apply for admission to a Master's or PhD programme at a participating French institution; the institution's international office then nominates the candidate to Campus France.
Annual
French institutions submit their nominated candidates to Campus France by approximately January 8 each year; students should contact their chosen institution well in advance (typically in the preceding autumn).
