El-Yurt Umidi Foundation under the President of Uzbekistan
Full scholarship: tuition fees, living expenses, round-trip travel, medical insurance, scientific literature. Funded from the state budget.
Open only to citizens of Uzbekistan. Candidates holding an acceptance letter from a reputable foreign university may apply at Bachelor's (up to age 30), Master's (age 22-40), or PhD (age 25-45) level. Those admitted to a university ranked in the global top 300 (THE, QS, US News, ARWU) automatically receive a scholarship covering travel and accommodation, while those admitted with full tuition coverage to a top-100 institution automatically receive a full scholarship without competition; other candidates are selected through open competition (tests and interview). Priority fields include STEM disciplines and key economic sectors (energy, transport, urban development, architecture and construction, agriculture and water management, geodesy, land relations), as well as public administration, medicine, and education.
Uzbekistan citizens only
1. Register at eyuf.uz. 2. Obtain admission letter from a foreign university. 3. Complete online application and upload documents. 4. Pass tests and interview. 5. Await results.

The competition is typically announced twice a year — once in spring (for 2026, the 1st round accepted documents via admission.eyuf.uz from 3-24 April, covering 500 places: 167 bachelor's, 232 master's, 38 PhD, plus 63 additional quota places; already closed), and again typically in autumn (e.g. the previous year's 2nd round was announced in November). The exact date of the 2026 2nd round has not yet been announced — check eyuf.uz or admission.eyuf.uz for updates.
U.S. Department of State
Full scholarship: tuition, monthly living stipend, international and domestic airfare, and J-1 Exchange Visitor health insurance. The program enables recipients to earn a Master's degree in the U.S. or conduct research under the Open Study/Research Award.
Turkish Government (YTB)
Full funding: tuition, accommodation, a monthly stipend (approximately TRY 4,500 for Bachelor's, TRY 6,500 for Master's, TRY 9,000 for PhD students), health insurance, a one-year Turkish-language course, and round-trip airfare.
UK Government (FCDO)
Full scholarship: university tuition fees, a monthly living allowance (rate varies by city), return flights to and from the UK, visa costs, and additional grants (e.g. for research). Available only for one-year master's programmes.
