Nuffic – Dutch Organisation for Internationalisation in Education
Recipients receive a one-time award of €5,000 in their first year of study. This does not cover the full cost of studying but provides significant help toward tuition and living expenses.
Open to citizens of all countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including Uzbekistan. Applicants must apply to a full-time bachelor's or master's programme at a participating Dutch institution and meet that institution's admission requirements. Applicants must not already hold a degree from a Dutch institution.
Choose a participating Dutch institution and programme, then submit the scholarship application directly to that institution according to its requirements. The application is usually submitted together with the general admission application.
Annual
Each institution sets its own deadline (typically between November and May, most commonly January-February). Applications for the 2026-2027 academic year opened on 1 November 2025. Check the specific institution's website for the exact deadline.
