Full government grant covering tuition, admission fees, a monthly stipend (₹18,000 for undergraduate, ₹20,000 for postgraduate, ₹22,000 for PhD, ₹25,000 for post-doctoral), a hostel/housing subsidy, an annual book allowance and reimbursement of approved medical expenses.
ICCR allocates dedicated scholarship slots for Uzbek nationals every year — the Embassy of India in Tashkent reported 12 slots for AY 2023-24, continuing annually under the India-Uzbekistan cultural cooperation framework. Candidates must be aged 18-40 for undergraduate programmes and up to 50 for PhD, hold the relevant prior qualification, and demonstrate good command of English (via essay or IELTS/TOEFL).

Candidates register on the a2ascholarships.iccr.gov.in portal, complete the online application and upload documents (transcripts, test scores, essay). The application is reviewed and endorsed through the Embassy of India, Tashkent.

Annually from late February to late April (for AY 2026-27 the portal opened 27 February 2026 and closed mid-to-late April). Exact dates are announced by the Embassy of India, Tashkent.
U.S. Department of State
Full scholarship: tuition, monthly living stipend, international and domestic airfare, and J-1 Exchange Visitor health insurance. The program enables recipients to earn a Master's degree in the U.S. or conduct research under the Open Study/Research Award.
Turkish Government (YTB)
Full funding: tuition, accommodation, a monthly stipend (approximately TRY 4,500 for Bachelor's, TRY 6,500 for Master's, TRY 9,000 for PhD students), health insurance, a one-year Turkish-language course, and round-trip airfare.
UK Government (FCDO)
Full scholarship: university tuition fees, a monthly living allowance (rate varies by city), return flights to and from the UK, visa costs, and additional grants (e.g. for research). Available only for one-year master's programmes.
