Rolling deadline
There is no single overall deadline — each programme (workshops, TRIL, Associates, etc.) has its own call schedule. For example, the deadline for the 2026 round of the TRIL programme is 31 December 2026. The exact date is published on the page of the selected programme.
Royal Society (UK)
Under the Global round: up to £3,000 for a single visit (up to 3 months), up to £6,000 for multiple visits within one year, and up to £12,000 in total over two years. Under the Cost-Share round, the Royal Society provides up to £12,000, matched by an equal contribution from an overseas partner organisation (e.g. Italy's CNR, Japan's JSPS, China's NSFC, or Taiwan's NSTC).
German Academic Exchange Service
Doctoral candidates and early-career postdocs receive a stipend of approximately €1,200–1,400 per month, along with health/accident insurance and a travel grant; the exact rate is updated annually.
European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN)
A daily allowance of approximately CHF 93-94 (tax-free) for accommodation and meals, plus coverage of travel costs to and from Geneva and full health insurance.
