Full scholarship: tuition, a monthly subsistence allowance matched to the cost of living in the host country, basic medical insurance, round-trip economy airfare, and a $600 travel allowance per flight. Covers Master's programs in development-related fields at more than 44 leading partner universities worldwide.
Open to citizens of 130+ World Bank member developing countries (Uzbekistan included) who do not hold citizenship of any developed country. Candidates must have earned their bachelor's degree at least 3 years ago, have a minimum of 3 years of full-time development-related work experience within the last 6 years, currently work in a development-related field, and have secured unconditional admission to a JJ/WBGSP partner university outside their own country of citizenship or residence.

Annual
For 2026, applications from developing-country nationals were accepted in two windows: Window 1 — 15 January to 27 February 2026, Window 2 — 30 March to 29 May 2026 (both already closed as of 12 July 2026). The program repeats this two-window structure every year; exact 2027 dates have not yet been announced.
U.S. Department of State
Full scholarship: tuition, monthly living stipend, international and domestic airfare, and J-1 Exchange Visitor health insurance. The program enables recipients to earn a Master's degree in the U.S. or conduct research under the Open Study/Research Award.
Turkish Government (YTB)
Full funding: tuition, accommodation, a monthly stipend (approximately TRY 4,500 for Bachelor's, TRY 6,500 for Master's, TRY 9,000 for PhD students), health insurance, a one-year Turkish-language course, and round-trip airfare.
UK Government (FCDO)
Full scholarship: university tuition fees, a monthly living allowance (rate varies by city), return flights to and from the UK, visa costs, and additional grants (e.g. for research). Available only for one-year master's programmes.
