Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS)
Bachelor's and master's students receive up to EUR 992 per month, and doctoral candidates up to EUR 1,400 per month, plus health insurance, family allowances, and research travel funding.
The programme mainly targets citizens of non-EU countries, and Uzbekistan is included in the list of 190+ eligible countries. Candidates must show academic excellence, civic engagement, and commitment to democratic values, plus German language proficiency at B2 level.
If not yet in Germany, applicants apply through their local/regional KAS office; if already studying in Germany, they apply via the KAS Campus online portal (CV, motivation letter, academic references, and proof of admission required).
Annual
The annual application deadline for international candidates is 15 July (by noon).
U.S. Department of State
Full scholarship: tuition, monthly living stipend, international and domestic airfare, and J-1 Exchange Visitor health insurance. The program enables recipients to earn a Master's degree in the U.S. or conduct research under the Open Study/Research Award.
Turkish Government (YTB)
Full funding: tuition, accommodation, a monthly stipend (approximately TRY 4,500 for Bachelor's, TRY 6,500 for Master's, TRY 9,000 for PhD students), health insurance, a one-year Turkish-language course, and round-trip airfare.
UK Government (FCDO)
Full scholarship: university tuition fees, a monthly living allowance (rate varies by city), return flights to and from the UK, visa costs, and additional grants (e.g. for research). Available only for one-year master's programmes.
