Schwarzman Scholars (Tsinghua University, Beijing)
Full scholarship: tuition, room & board at Schwarzman College, personal stipend, round-trip airfare, health insurance, study trips.
Open to citizens of all countries, including Uzbekistan — there is no restriction by nationality or citizenship. Applicants must hold at least a Bachelor's degree (or complete one before the programme starts); all fields of study are accepted. Age limit: 18-28 years old as of August 1 of the programme's start year (limited exceptions may be considered). Proof of English proficiency is required: TOEFL 100+, IELTS 7.0+, Cambridge C1/C2 185+, or Duolingo 130+ (unless the applicant has studied in English for at least 2 years).

Applications for the 2027-2028 cohort opened on April 8, 2026 and close on September 9, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time (EDT). Late applications are not accepted under any circumstances. Approximately 150 scholars are selected each year.
U.S. Department of State
Full scholarship: tuition, monthly living stipend, international and domestic airfare, and J-1 Exchange Visitor health insurance. The program enables recipients to earn a Master's degree in the U.S. or conduct research under the Open Study/Research Award.
Turkish Government (YTB)
Full funding: tuition, accommodation, a monthly stipend (approximately TRY 4,500 for Bachelor's, TRY 6,500 for Master's, TRY 9,000 for PhD students), health insurance, a one-year Turkish-language course, and round-trip airfare.
UK Government (FCDO)
Full scholarship: university tuition fees, a monthly living allowance (rate varies by city), return flights to and from the UK, visa costs, and additional grants (e.g. for research). Available only for one-year master's programmes.
