Guide
A guide to department documents
Which document is needed when, the normative basis each one follows, and how a syllabus differs from a work programme.
Syllabus and work programme — what is the difference?
There is none — they are two names for one document. Oʻz DSt 3556:2021 §9.2.4 defines the syllabus as a form of the course programme, and Nizom No. 3807 derives the «work» variant from it for the evening, extramural and distance study forms. Most departments title the document «Ishchi fan dasturi (Sillabus)».
The course programme (fan dasturi) is a separate document: its section order follows Oʻz DSt 3556:2021 §9.2.3, while the syllabus follows the §9.2.4 requirement on study forms.

Frequently asked questions
How many documents does one course need?
It depends on what your department asks for. A teaching-methodology set usually holds a syllabus or course programme, lecture texts, independent-study guidance and assessment questions.
Can the documents be edited?
Yes. Every document is delivered as a Word (DOCX) file — text, tables and sections edit as usual.
What happens if I leave out the institution name and signatories?
Those fields are optional. Left empty, they are marked in yellow in the document so you can fill them in before submitting.
Is one payment enough for all the documents?
No. Each document is prepared separately and paid for separately.
Choose the document you need
Every document has its own page — a sample, the list of sections and how it is prepared.
