Institutions submit quota proposals

Through the Unified Electronic System.
Institutions publish their admission announcement
Institutionby September 1
The announcement states the document deadline, the list of documents, the examination subjects and the quota. This is the date that matters most to you.
Entrance examinations and interviews
YouNovember 1 — November 25
An examination for tayanch doktorantura; an interview for doktorantura and intern researchers.
Selection completed
Admission commissionby November 30
Results are formalised by protocol of the admission commission.
Enrolment order
Institutionby December 5
The institution issues the order enrolling those admitted.
Studies begin
YouJanuary 1
Doctoral study begins on 1 January, not in September. That is why admission is announced as being «for next year».
Independent researchers work differently
Applications are accepted all year round. Formalisation is quarterly, by order on 5 March, 5 June, 5 September and 5 December.
