About the journal
An illustrated literary-social journal published in the city of Nukus. It was published from 1932 under the name «Qoraqalpoq adabiyoti ham iskusstvosi», and renamed «Amudaryo» in 1959. As the central literary publication of the Writers' Union of Karakalpakstan, it publishes works of Karakalpak literature, poetry, and art.
