The journal covers the works of scholars of Movarounnahr (Transoxiana) and their legacy, the Qur'an and its exegesis, hadith, doctrine ('aqidah), the science of kalam, Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh), Sufism, the history of Islam, philosophy, and the Hanafi school, in particular the life and scholarly legacy of Imam Maturidi and the teachings of Maturidism ('the Qur'an and its exegesis, hadith, doctrinal teachings, Islamic theology (kalam), Islamic jurisprudence, Sufism, Islamic history, philosophy, and the Hanafi school of thought').
